Thiess Services Middle East

TSME was established in 2008 as a joint venture between Thiess Services Pty Ltd and Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprises Co LLC to provide facilities management, waste management, utilities maintenance and land remediation services in the Middle East. Both shareholders bring years of experience and knowledge in the region to the company.

 

Since its inception, TSME has seen steady and measured growth in its chosen sectors and markets. The number of directly employed staff now exceeds 200 and the company turnover in 2010 was AED 115,507,744.

 

Thiess Services Pty Ltd

Thiess Services Pty Ltd has a proud history as one of Australia’s most versatile, innovative and diverse environmental and utilities contracting organisations.
The company was first established as a two-member subsidiary division in the late 1980s as parent company Thiess Pty Ltd expanded its operations into the contaminated site remediation sector.

Originally known as Thiess Environmental Services, the name was changed to Thiess Services in 2000 to better reflect the diversity and future focus of the company.

The first contract awarded to Thiess Environmental Services was with Darwin City Council for the development of a landfill site. Since then operations have expanded across sectors including facilities management, waste management, water and wastewater infrastructure, utilities management, electrical infrastructure construction and maintenance, road infrastructure operations and maintenance and telecommunications infrastructure construction and maintenance.

Al Habtoor Engineering

Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprises is one of the leading construction and engineering companies in the Middle East and has undertaken many major projects in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan.
