General Manager – Timothy Harwood
Tim has over 17 years in the environmental and services industry where he has held a variety of technical and senior managerial roles based in the Middle East, Australia and Asia. Tim has extensive experience in managing multi disciplined and multicultural staff and his commitment to continuously improving performance by focusing on client requirements and developing core strengths has been critical to him developing a successful track record in the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Operations Manager – Andrew Henry
Andrew has worked with the Thiess Group since 1998 and has managed a variety of utilities maintenance, telecommunications and waste projects for the company. Andrew specialises in mobilising new projects and restructuring existing operations to ensure optimum outcomes are delivered to our clients with an emphasis on innovation, safety and technology. He holds formal qualifications in accounting and business administration, and is also a qualified C.P.A.
Finance & Administration Manager – Renee Bromiley
With more than 14 years experience in the construction and services industry, Renee is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of Thiess Services Middle East LLC. Attention to planning, process and detail are essential in fulfilling her wide and varied responsibilities which include the provision of internal and external financial reports, projections and forecasts, budgeting and cash flow management.
Human Resources Manager – Richard Vine
Rick first joined Thiess from the Oil and Gas industry in Jan 2007. Ricks strengths lie in his depth of experience in change management, leadership and the development of both culture and strategies for engaging the workforce.
Rick brings to this role over 30 years work experience across a number of industries, cultures and countries including China, Thailand, PNG and Australia. His early leadership experiences were formed within the Australian Military and prior to working with Thiess, Rick had various HR leadership roles within manufacturing, retail and oil and gas industries.
Health, Safety & Environment Manager – Shaun Hannam
Shaun is a health, safety and risk management professional with over 20 years experience in the energy sector and high-risk industries, working in corporate, project, consultancy and field positions. Shaun has considerable experience in the design and implement of contemporary HSE, Crisis and Risk management systems. Shaun has also been influential in the integration of cultural and behavioural approach to safety leadership and performance within TSME.
Before joining TSME, Shaun spent the previous eight years in various senior HSE and Risk roles with Origin Energy, Australia and New Zealand’s largest fully integrated energy company providing operational HSE and enterprise wide risk strategies and advice.
Estimating Manager – Michael Conroy
As Estimating Manager, Michael is responsible for securing TSME' continued growth in this highly competitive environment. Michael is able to bring a more rounded commercial approach to the estimating process, willing to consider alternative contract models and constantly looking to add value for the client. Michael has been employed by Thiess since 2000 and has been a key figure in bidding and winning an extensive portfolio of remediation, waste management, infrastructure maintenance and facilities management tenders.
Before joining Thiess Services, Michael worked for ADI Limited.
Commercial Manager – Abdul Rahman Jarrah
Abdul has worked with the Thiess Group since 2001. Before joining TSME, Abdul worked in the Thiess Group Counsel’s office where he gained extensive experience in negotiating large and complex projects. Before joining the Thiess Group, Abdul was in private legal practice in the United States. He holds formal qualifications in civil engineering and law and is admitted to practice law in Australia and the United States.
