Michael Wright Appointed Thiess Services Executive General Manager

Michael Wright has been appointed Executive General Manager Thiess Services, effective November 1, reporting directly to Thiess Managing Director David Saxelby.
Michael has been with the Thiess Group since 1998 and has gained experience across a range of disciplines, including civil engineering, mining and services over the past ten years. He has held senior positions in Thiess Services, Thiess Siemens Communications JV and Silcar over the past eight years. Most recently Michael was General Manager China and Mongolia for Leighton Asia.
Michael graduated in Civil Engineering in 1988 and completed his Masters in Engineering Science at the University of NSW in 2000. Michael is married and has four children.
